Friends of the Four Rivers Association Annual Members Meeting and Pot Luck Luncheon at 12 noon, followed by the Guest Speaker’s Presentation at 1 p.m.
We are sure you will enjoy listening to Peter and Donna Thomas share their 2006 walk across California to discover and retrace the route travelled by John Muir during his journey in 1868. That route took the Thomases by Pacheco State Park and the O’Neill Forebay. The couple also wrote a book that serves as a guide to others wishing to walk the route themselves, chronicles their own adventure, and provides an account of John Muir’s 1868 journey.
Their book will be available for sale at the luncheon.
The meeting and luncheon will be held at, The San Luis Reservoir State Recreation Area Headquarters 31426 Gonzaga Road (next to the San Luis Reservoir dam)
Take the Basalt exit, south, from Highway 152, and then turn right, onto Gonzaga Road. If you have questions, please call the State Parks office on Gonzaga Road at 209-826-1197 or email,
